BREAKING NEWS: City principal killed in possible hit

Police are at the scene where a school principal has been brutally attacked and killed.

A 45 year old school principal was found dead in her motor vehicle on a deserted stretch of the Bishopstowe Road, just outside the Pietermaritzburg City centre, about 30 minutes ago. Police and emergency services are at the scene. It is believed she was pushed off the road by suspects, who then stabbed her repeatedly.

Eye-witnesses who stumbled upon the scene found her lifeless body half-hanging out of the vehicle. She still had her seatbelt strapped around her.
