Party for all at Jackson’s Drift

The day was enjoyed by all who attended; and everyone left with a special gift.

SENIORS and children at the Jackson’s Drift Informal Settlement were recently treated to their Christmas party at the settlement in Eikenhof.

Founder of the Boithuto Community Project, Louisah Rafoma, started in 2012 and sees approximately 160 children being fed daily.

The children were at Waterstone College for another Christmas party, at the time the CHRONICLE arrived there. Their party at Jackson’s Drift was held after that of the seniors.

“We’re all are just so excited for this treat. I love children and we all do, but I never forget the old people. They hold a special place in my heart and I love them,” said Rafoma.
